Every year teams from SoCal travel to face some of the top teams from the Las Vegas area the weekend after the Super Bowl in what has become known as the Border Battle.
The tournament generally attracts some of the best teams from both areas and is regarded as a must see for many pro scouts. The 2015 version of the event is sure to grab the attention of scouts based on the number of players eligible for the 2015 draft, with several players being talked about being drafted in the top 5-10 rounds. All told there are a minimum of 10 players who are likely to be drafted in June making this tournament intriguing from a scouting perspective. This of course doesn't factor in the draftable talent in the 2016 and 2017 classes that will be on display.
