Another in a long line of early season tournaments is scheduled get underway this weekend but due to the inclement weather will likely get pushed back to the second day on the schedule. If that is the case, first round games will take place on 3/5 and second round games will take place 3/8 with the playoffs later the following week.

The Dick's Sporting Goods Tournament traditionally host a very strong field and that holds true in 2014. With teams like San Dimas, Los Osos, Fullerton, South Hills, and Charter Oak, this tourney will have plenty of prospects to follow.

Playoffs: The top team from each pool will move into bracket A for playoffs. One 1-1 team will move into the top bracket as well, determined by  head to head, fewest amount of runs allowed, and total runs scored in that order. The next ten 1-1 teams, determined by runs allowed, will move into bracket B for playoffs. The bottom two 1-1 teams, determined by runs allowed, along with the 0-2 teams will move into bracket C.


Game Times: Saturday game times will be 1pm unless agreed upon by both coaches for a change. Weekday games will be at 3:30 unless agreed up by both coaches for a change.
