SoCal High School Baseball: Boras Classic NorCal Field Finalized

The 2nd annual Boras Classic NorCal field has been finalized and it appears the event is once again loaded with top teams from the region. The NorCal field features six teams that were either champions or finalists in their respective sections.

This years bracket features eight teams making a return trip highlighted by host Elk Grove and Yuba City, both CIF Sac-Joaquin section champions.

Making their inaugural appearance are St. Francis (CIF Central Coast D1 Champs) and De La Salle (CIF North Coast Finalist).

The Boras Classic is two-bracket event featuring 16 teams from Northern California and 16 teams from Southern California. The winner of the each bracket faces off for the de-facto state championship. The NorCal bracket is hosted by Elk Grove high school.
