Lions Tournament - Final - Wednesday, April 3rd - Glover Stadium, Anaheim - 7:00pm

Long Beach Wilson - 2
Agoura - 0

A two run sixth inning propelled the Bruins over Agoura ace Henry Baker (6IP 2R 5H 8K). Baker came into the game in the top five in strikeouts in the section and added eight more in this one. Wilson had a chance to get more in the sixth before Baker induced an inning-ending double play. This is a huge win for Wilson and could propel them after a somewhat lackadaisical start to the season.

Villa Park - 1
Saugus - 0

Senior LHP Casey Herschfield (CG, 0R, 8K) continues to hurl for Villa Park since breaking into the starting rotation. The southpaw has  21 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched. He also doubles as an outfield when not pitching.

Ayala - 16
Bradshaw Christian - 6

Second year head coach Chris Vogt has a group of seniors determined to change the culture at Ayala and they're doing just that. Robert Longtree, Anthony Seminaris, and Anthony Rabito went a combined 8-for-9 on the day. Six-foot-three junior Jordan Abernathy got the win. Jonathan Buckley added his second home run since entering the lineup last week.

Serra - 3
Diamond Bar - 0

Senior Trent Hammond (5IP 2H 4K 3BB) shutdown the Brahma offense before handing it over to  Denz'l Chapman who took care of the final two innings. In his first at bat since becoming eligible due to a transfer ruling, Solomon Bates laced an RBI double. Khalil Denson and Donte Flowers provided the rest of the offense for the Cavaliers.
